Liz Carver
Communications Manager
Liz Carver is AGCI’s Communications Manager. In this role, she shapes AGCI’s marketing communications strategy and oversees all its external communications channels, including web, social media, and newsletter. With over 20 years of experience as a nonprofit storyteller, producer, and editor, Liz works with AGCI colleagues and collaborators to develop new ways to share stories of the Institute’s programs and partnerships.
Prior to joining AGCI, Liz managed communications for Groundwork USA, a national sustainability and community development network. At CLF Ventures, she provided project management, strategy development, and communications expertise to Conservation Law Foundation’s clean energy and climate change, sustainable food systems, and healthy communities initiatives. Before shifting to the environmental arena, Liz produced science and history documentaries and websites for public television and nonprofit organizations. Liz lives with her wife and feline family members in Boston. Outside of work, you can find Liz urban gardening, kayaking, birdwatching, cooking, and singing with Coro Allegro, Boston’s LGBTQ+ and allied classical chorus.
