Why donate to AGCI?

Your donation plays a significant role in furthering AGCI’s mission. Individual donations help us pursue projects critical to today’s most pressing global change challenges, from climate change to biodiversity loss to achieving a clean and just energy transition. Donations make it possible for us to add value to existing projects, meaningfully contribute to collaborative efforts, and develop new projects and partnerships to advance global change science and solutions.

Since 1989, AGCI has held over 85 interdisciplinary workshops, contributing to a range of timely scientific discoveries about global change and Earth systems science. Small in size and intensive in focus, these meetings create opportunities for substantive discussion and collaboration to address the global environmental challenges of our time.

AGCI innovative programs and partnerships advance relevant, reliable, and reputable knowledge and solutions to help mitigate and adapt to the impacts of global change. Whether we’re advising cities, natural resource managers, and federal agencies on how to understand climate risks and pursue equitable solutions, supporting the design and rapid implementation of ambitious, policies critical to long-term climate stability, or convening researchers from across the globe to innovate modeling methods, AGCI strives to make global change science more relevant and usable.

Thank you for helping us continue our work to advance interdisciplinary understanding of global change science, catalyze science-informed solutions, and nurture a global community of solutions-seekers by giving to AGCI today.
