Workshop

Next Generation Climate Change Experiments Needed to Advance Knowledge and for Assessment of CMIP6

calendar
Aug 4th, 2013 - Aug 9th, 2013
location
Aspen

This workshop on the next-generation of climate model intercomparison projections (CMIP6) explored ways to overcome gaps in previous MIP (CMIP5) and design effective ways of approaching the next iteration of this tool. Methods for improved coordination of models, integration of new computing resources, and consideration of new science questions were all discussed.

Keywords: climate variability & change; models and modeling
