Naiqing Pan

Naiqing Pan is a Research Scientist at the Schiller Institute for Integrated Science and Society at Boston College. His research focuses on terrestrial ecology and biogeochemistry, with emphasis on greenhouse gas emissions, carbon and nitrogen cycling, ecosystem modeling, remote sensing, and data-driven analysis. He uses observations, process-based models, and model intercomparison frameworks to study how climate change and human activities affect terrestrial ecosystems and land–atmosphere greenhouse gas exchanges. His recent work focuses on nitrous oxide emissions, reactive nitrogen cycling, and vegetation dynamics at regional to global scales.
