Karolina Safarzynska

Karolina Safarzynska is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. Before joining the University of Warsaw, she earned a doctorate from the Vrije University, Amsterdam, and worked at the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. In the past, she has been a visiting scholar at the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) at Oxford University, the Santa Fe Institute, and the Ostrom Workshop. In her research, she studies how to guide a low-carbon transition with climate policies, using tools and methods from behavioural and complexity economics.
