Oliver Sonnentag

Sonnentag is a Professor of Atmospheric Biogeosciences at Université de Montréal, where he directs the ATMOSBIOS lab and has served as Canada Research Chair Tier 2 in Atmospheric Biogeosciences in High Latitudes (2014–2024); his research integrates flux tower observations, remote sensing, and process- and data-driven modelling to understand Arctic-boreal carbon and water dynamics across northwestern Canada.
