Frans-Jan Parmentier is a senior researcher in ecohydrology and climate interactions. His research has delivered important advances to the understanding of globally relevant carbon-climate feedbacks, through pioneering fieldwork in Norway, Svalbard and Siberia, combined with novel analyses of model and remote sensing data across the Arctic-boreal region.
