Rachael Stein is an environmental policy and water management specialist with a background in education, leadership, and community engagement. She is currently pursuing a degree in the Masters of the Environment program at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on sustainable water management and policy. As a member of the Acequia Assistance Project, Rachael tracks statewide water policy legislation, collaborates with local stakeholders, and provides community-focused insights into water access and sustainability challenges. Her main interests align with water quality and the facilitation and intersection of hydrology and water policy. Rachael is passionate about ensuring equitable water rights and developing policies that secure a resilient water future for all communities.
