Dorah Labatte

Dorah Labatte, MPH (She/her/hers) is a 3rd year student in the Doctor of Public Health program at the Dept of Epidemiology. Originally from Queens, NY, Dorah has worked with NYC Health and Hospitals to address maternal health disparities within the Caribbean community in NYC. It is important to her to continue her work in health equity, implementation science, and community engagement. She earned her master’s degree (MPH) in Epidemiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, NY. She is also an alumna of Quinnipiac University, where she earned a Bachelors in Journalism and a Bachelors in Mathematics.
