Robin Cooper, MD is a private practice psychiatrist in San Francisco, California where she has treated patients for 40 years.
She is Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at University of California San Francisco, as voluntary faculty.

Dr. Cooper is co-founder and current president of Climate Psychiatry Alliance, a national group with current membership of nearly 1300 psychiatrists, allied mental health professionals and partners, dedicated to understanding, educating, and advocating about the specific impacts of climate change on mental health. She has presented and taught about the impacts of climate change on mental health to many groups, has served as consultant to groups, mentored many early career professionals and contributed to activities within psychiatric, medical and psychological professional organizations including ,the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Community Psychiatry , the American Psychological Association , the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health and other groups.
