Dr. Andreas Flouris is a Professor of Physiology at the University of Thessaly and a Visiting Professor at the University of Ottawa. Specializing in the health and productivity impacts of climate change, he advises governments and international bodies, contributing to occupational health and climate policy. He is a Lead Author for WHO and ILO and a member of the Advisory Committee on Safety and Health at Work, advising the Council of the European Union and the European Commission. Recognized on the TIME100 Next list, Dr. Flouris' work spans over 15 years, mentoring over 60 postgraduates in environmental physiology and health, and serving on the VinFuture Prize committee for his commitment to climate action.
