I am an ecohydrologist interested in how plant-water-climate interactions shape current and future ecosystem dynamics. I received a Ph.D. degree in Environment and an M.S. degree in Statistics from Duke University in 2019. I worked as a postdoc at Stanford University and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory before joining The Ohio State University as an Assistant Professor in 2021. My research focuses on vegetation dynamics and climate feedback in water stressed, fast warming, and fire disturbed ecosystems. I investigate related science questions by integrating dynamical theory, numerical models from site to global scales, and remote sensing measurements.
