Daniel Lopera

Industrial Designer from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), Master in Design Futures from Griffith University (Australia) and Master in Education from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), PhD candidate in Development and Territory Studies at Universidad de La Salle (Colombia). He teaches in the areas of design futures, ontological design and research. He has conducted action-research projects involving peasant, indigenous and ex-combatant communities. He led the creation of the current Design program at the University of Ibagué, Colombia, of which he was the director for five years. He currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Ibagué, Colombia.
