Ingrid Gomes Abdala
Director of Projects and Institutional Relations

I graduated in Psychology from the State University of Ceará (UECE) and earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Culture from the University of Brasília (UnB). Currently, I'm pursuing my Ph.D. in the same field at UnB. Over the last 8 years, my research has focused on the development, monitoring, and evaluation of social programs that are implemented through Public Policies. My primary interest lies in the realm of youth health prevention and promotion. I also contribute as a researcher within the Research Group for Health Prevention and Promotion throughout the Lifespan (GEPPS-Life).
My current role as the Director of Projects and Institutional Relations at the Veredas Institute allows me to build connections between public administration, academia, and civil society. In this capacity, and through collective efforts from the Veredas team, we create spaces for dialogue and facilitate access to technical and scientific knowledge. My main focus revolves around advocating for more inclusive, equitable, and multidisciplinary public policies, particularly in areas such as youth, health, and public security. These fields present complex challenges that necessitate holistic solutions.
