I am a PhD candidate at ETH Zurich and a CEGA Fellow at UC Berkeley. Previously, I was a ZEF Junior Researcher at the University of Bonn and an Assistant Lecturer in Economics at the Nile University of Nigeria. My main research focuses on quantifying the climate finance needs of developing countries to meet their NDC targets. I also work on analysing the impact of weather shocks on rural agricultural households. Previously, I have worked on the role of finance and public policy in energy transitions and the techno-economic-environmental impacts of energy policies. I have an MSc in Development Economics from SOAS University of London and a BSc in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
