Christine Wamsler

Christine Wamsler is Professor of Sustainability Science and the founder and director of the Contemplative Sustainable Futures Program (www.contemplative-sustainable-futures.com). She is an internationally recognized expert on sustainable development, climate change, and associated (inner and outer) transformation processes. The latter includes her pioneering research on the interface between the mind, compassion, climate change, and other sustainability crises. She has led many international projects, and published more than 200 academic papers, book chapters, and books. Her publications are regularly cited and used in theory and policy development, including the work of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
