Jim Kossin

Focusing his research on hurricanes, Jim analyzes their relationship with regard to global climate change. He uses the relationship between remote satellite data and hurricane metrics to study their intensity, the change in their intensity, and surface wind structures. He also has examined the secondary eyewall formation in hurricanes and its relationship to intensity change.
