Laurie is currently a PhD Student, ATOC, CU Boulder. Her research topics include Climate variability/prediction, Ocean-Atmospheric interactions, and ocean dynamics, with emphasis placed on variability in the Indian Ocean basin. She received her B.E. in Chemical Engineering and her M.A. in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University.
