Through his work with the Climate Change Data and Detection (CCDD) program, Bill seeks to enhance the understanding of climate variability and change on time scales that range from days to centuries. He develops and evaluates robust data sets that are critical to understanding and predicting seasonal, interannual, and long term climate variations and changes.
