Project Scientist III
Melissa Bukovsky is currently a Project Scientist III at NCAR. Her research focuses on climate change in North America, and spans regional climate modeling, climate analysis, and climate change impacts. Some of her current areas of work include the examination of the influence of climate change on Southern U.S. Great Plains and North American monsoon related weather, the influence of climate change on North American extratropical cyclones, fire, and the influence of potential future land-use scenarios on climate change projections. Melissa is also currently involved in North American CORDEX (na-cordex.org), and has produced WRF and RegCM simulations for that effort.
