Claudia Tebaldi's expertise is in statistical climatology, the analysis of observed and projected changes in the climate system, their impacts on natural resources, ecosystems, human health, the characterization of uncertainty in future projections from multi-model ensembles. She is a project scientist in the Climate and Global Dynamics division of the National Center for Atmospheric Research, in Boulder, CO. She is Lead Author in Chapter 12, Long Term Climate Change: Projections, Commitments and Irreversibility for the forthcoming Fifth Assessment Report of the IPCC, Working Group 1; a reviewer and author of National Research Council reports; a member of the Board on Atmospheric Science and Climate and of the WRCP Working Group on Climate Modeling. She belongs to the International ad-hoc Detection and Attribution Group (IDAG).
