Julia Nabel

I am working as a scientific programmer in the Land Use in the Earth system working group at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology. While I originally studied computer sciences, I followed my interests in the ecology of forests and the global carbon cycle in my PhD and current employment. In our group we are engaged with the understanding and better quantification of the impact of land use on the climate, with a focus on forests, using a large scale dynamic vegetation model, as well as a bookkeeping model.
