Brian Mills is an applied climatologist employed by Environment Canada and based out of the University of Waterloo, where he obtained his Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies. Over the course of his 13 years with the Adaptation and Impacts Research Group, Brian has contributed to several assessments of the potential impacts of climate change, including the binational Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Basin Project, Toronto-Niagara Region Study on Atmospheric Change and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Canadian Transportation Sector. Brian's research is presently focused on understanding the sensitivity and adaptability of transportation to weather, climate and climate change and the value of weather information in decision-making.
