Julian Ramirez-Villegas
Climate Impacts Scientist
Julian Ramirez-Villegas gained a PhD on climate change impacts and adaptation in the School of Earth and Environment at University of Leeds in early 2014. He is now working as a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Earth and Environment, at the University of Leeds, in the Climate Impacts Group. He also works in the Decision and Policy Analysis program at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), through a Leeds-CIAT joint position funded by the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS).
During his career, he has contributed to a broad range of research projects at the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) and has published a number of papers related to crop-climate modeling, climate change impacts, adaptation, conservation of biodiversity and plant genetic resources.
