Peter Bromirski

Peter D. Bromirski is an Assistant Project Scientist at the Integrated Oceanography Division at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UCSD, La Jolla, California. As a member of the California Climate Action Team, he recently co-authored an analysis of historical and projected waves and sea levels along the California coast. His current research includes reconstruction of the wave climatology along the central California coast from inversion of archived seismograms at UC Berkeley from 1930 onward, coastal impacts of extreme waves and sea levels, their decadal variability, and the decadal variability of sea levels along the U.S. West Coast.
