I'm a landscape architect, currently finishing my PhD in urbanism at PROURB/UFRJ. For the last 10 years, my work as a consultant and researcher, has focused on developing and implementing landscape approaches to disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation, especially for vulnerable communities in Latin America. Recently, I designed a short-course for for the United Nations Development Program on green infrastructure and nature based solutions to reduce floods and other hazards in coastal cities of Latin America.
