Oriana Chegwidden

Biography
Oriana Chegwidden is a research scientist at CarbonPlan where she works on open science to inform climate policy. Her most recent work has focused on historical and future risks to forests as a carbon sink. She has a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington where she specialized in climate change impacts on water resources. She has contributed to science that has been used by federal, state, tribal, and local natural resource managers and decision-makers. She has particular interest in work that supports equitable climate action.
