AGCI Workshop Participation
July 15, 2005 to July 21, 2005
Tony's research interest is climate modeling, with particular emphasis on the simulation of past climates and climate change. Climate models are powerful tools for improving our fundamental understanding of the climate system and predicting its future behavior. The value of climate models depends on their credibility, so careful comparison with the observed climate record is essential. His research involves the design and analysis of climate model experiments intended to facilitate such comparisons, and thereby add to our understanding of fundamental climate processes.
