Biography
Bonnie Colby has been a professor at the University of Arizona since 1983 in the Departments of Resource Economics, Geography, and Hydrology and Water Resources. Her expertise is drought and climate change adaptation, water supply reliability, water management, water transactions and water policy. Dr. Colby has authored over one hundred journal articles and seven books. She has provided invited testimony to Native American tribal councils, state legislatures, courts and the U.S. Congress. Dr. Colby works with cities, states, tribes, private firms and non-profit groups to develop water and habitat acquisition programs and climate change adaptation plans.
