Biography
Kenneth Strzepek is Founding Director of the Center for Advanced Decision Support for Water and Environmental Systems, and Associate Professor of Water Resource Engineering at University of Colorado, Boulder. He received a PhD in Water Resource Systems from MIT. He is also a Visiting Associate of Agricultural and Chemical Engineering at MIT. Before joining the University of Colorado, he was an assistant Professor at Texas A&M University, a Private Consultant and a Research Scholar at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, Vienna, Austria. He has consulted from the US Bureau of Reclamation, US Army Corps of Engineers, the US Environmental Protection Agency, the US Department of Energy, the United Nations, the World Meteorological Organization, and various national governments and consulting firms. Dr. Strzepek's current research and consulting activities lie in the areas of Climate Impacts on Water Management and Advanced Computer Techniques for management of Water, Environmental, and Agricultural Systems.
