Barometric pressure transducers

Barometric pressure transducers are sensors that measure changes in atmospheric pressure. The SOS Project uses barometric pressure transducers, seen on the left of the tower above, to measure changes in atmospheric pressure in the air above the snowpack. These sensors are also deployed on the ground to measure changes in atmospheric pressure within the snowpack.
Number deployed on SOS Project: 4 above the snowpack and 4 in the snowpack (8 total)
Make/model used on SOS Project: Paroscientific 6000
