The mission of AGCI’s Energy Project, led by Hal Harvey, is to accelerate progress in clean energy by identifying policies that most effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Through customized research and analysis for decision makers, the project uncovers strategies that will produce the largest results. The Energy Project works in both the US and China on energy issues such as utility market regulation, urban design, and natural gas policy. An underlying basis in current science and careful analysis informs this work, supporting communities, large and small, in making wise decisions under rapidly evolving and uncertain conditions.
