Mountains Warming Faster than Expected as Climate Changes, Scientists Report

University of Colorado Boulder Blog Hananah Fletcher Two of AGCI's 2013 workshops explored Adaptation to Climate Change in Mountain and Coastal Areas, one in Hamburg, the other in Aspen. A recent report by a team of NOAA and CIRES researchers has found that warming in mountain regions may be augmented in comparison to overall global warming, leading to a need for more high elevation monitoring sites.
