About the Heat Resilience Poster Session

On October 19, 7pm ET, in conjunction with a virtual workshop, Advancing the Theory and Practice of Urban Heat Resilience, the Aspen Global Change Institute is hosting a public online lecture, “An Equity-Focused Approach to Urban Heat Resilience” by Kizzy Charles-Guzman, Deputy Director, NYC Mayor's Office of Sustainability.

Immediately following the lecture and Q&A, AGCI will be hosting a virtual poster hall reception. Poster submissions are encouraged from students and early career scientists/professionals to share their work related to urban heat resilience. Poster presenters will have the opportunity to host a virtual table featuring their poster, share findings, and answer questions via video chat with colleagues and a public audience.


To submit your poster, please email the following Submission Requirement information to by October 13, 2020. You will receive notification if your poster has been accepted by October 15, 2020. Final posters must be submitted by October 17, 2020 in .pdf, .jpeg, or .png format.
