Biography

William J. Gutowski, Jr., is a Professor of Meteorology at Iowa State University. Prof. Gutowski was a contributing author to "Climate Change 2001: The Scientific Basis", produced as a contribution of Working Group 1 to the Third Assessment Report of the IPCC, and is also a contributing author to the upcoming Fourth Assessment Report's chapter on regional climate. He is a member of a National Academy/Transportation Research Board panel to study impacts of climate change on transportation. His current research interests include regional climate change and the water cycle.
