Over 850 scientists from 35 countries have attended AGCI summer sessions to present and discuss the latest research findings. Participants from both the natural and social sciences are invited to the workshops based on their expertise in their discipline.
Past Workshop Participants
Participants in AGCI's interdisciplinary science workshops come from across the globe, from universities, government research labs, NGOs and the private sector. Past visiting scientists have included Nobel laureates, MacArthur genius recipients, members of the National Academy of Science as well as young researchers just beginning their careers. Additionally, many AGCI program participants have served as authors contributing to international research agendas and priorities, particularly those associated with the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) working group reports.
