Climate change is a force with global implications as well as unique regional effects. In this lecture, Dr. Norman Rosenberg, manager at the Battelle Pacific Northwest National Lab, explains the evidence for global climate change and then addresses the specific effects of a changing climate on the American Mid-West.

About the speaker

Dr. Rosenberg is a Laboratory Fellow, Emeritus,at Battelle's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) Joint Global Change Research Institute (JGCRI). Prior to his retirement in 2004, Dr. Rosenberg lead research on the impacts of climatic variability and potential change on water resources, agriculture and unmanaged ecosystems.
